Abstract

We open the first issue of the Philippine Journal of Pathology for 2025 with quiet resolve. It is, by all accounts, a lean harvest—just five articles in this issue—but each one reflects the rigor, relevance, and responsibility we seek
to uphold in Philippine pathology. In an era marked by increasing demands on laboratory professionals and evolving health challenges, we recognize the many constraints faced by our contributors, reviewers, and editorial team alike.
